EMDR helps you process what still feels unresolved,
so the past no longer controls your present.

EMDR

Healing does not mean
the damage never existed.

It means the damage
no longer controls your life.

Could this be you?

The past still feels present.

You may recognise yourself here:

  • You know you're safe, but don't feel safe.

  • Your mind understands. Your body doesn't.

  • You feel anxious, panicked, or constantly on edge.

  • You carry shame, guilt, or feel you're not enough.

  • You keep repeating patterns you don't understand.

  • You can't let go, no matter how hard you try.

  • You fear abandonment or struggle to feel secure.

  • You want to feel calm, free and like yourself again.

You don't have to stay stuck.

What is EMDR?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing.

It is a therapy that helps you process distressing experiences that still feel emotionally present, so they can become memories rather than something your mind and body continue to react to.

During EMDR, we use bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or gentle tapping, while you briefly connect with aspects of the experience.

The aim isn't to erase what happened.

It's to change the way it lives within you.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What can change?

The past begins to feel like the past.

What once overwhelmed you can begin to feel manageable.

You regain a sense of choice in how you think, feel, and respond.

Meet Sophie

I believe lasting change begins with understanding what is happening beneath the surface.

Together, we explore what is keeping you stuck - not just the symptoms, but the experiences, beliefs, and patterns underneath them.

Using EMDR and a deeply individual approach, I help you gently work through what you're carrying and move towards feeling calmer, more confident, and more like yourself again.
